One day I realized that my smile wasn’t there anymore. I didn’t realize how bad it was, how socially uncomfortable and self-conscious I was – until I saw pictures of myself. I wasn’t smiling. I never smiled. After a while I just stopped caring.

Then, my dentist recommended I see Dr. James. I wasn’t from the area, but my dentist insisted that I see her. (I have anxiety issues driving in traffic, so thank you, Rick. You took off time from work to drive me to my appointments.)

Dr. James did my evaluation, explained what would take place on future visits. She told me what needed to be done for my periodontal issues, to rehabilitate my smile and make sure my teeth functioned the way they were supposed to. I looked at her smile and realized how much I wanted to be able to smile like that.

Dr. James, if it wasn’t for you and your staff, I would never have been able to go through with this dental care. I was a skeptical patient, looking for a simple fix to “get me by”, but we talked through my options.
I couldn’t comprehend how you could possibly change my smile like you said you could. But you did.

The first time I looked in the mirror after my temporary crowns were placed, I cried- tears of happiness. We all cried. That doesn’t happen every day. Compassion & caring about me kept me coming back & looking forward to my next visits. Dr. Lisa, Tanya and Kathy, the three of you touched my heart in ways that you will never know. Thank you. You are not only part of my smile, you have a place in my heart that no one else will ever have. : )

It is just so difficult to put into words what your technical and artistic dental abilities have done for me as a person and now, a dentist…..it is so much more than just a smile.
